Before the war, the Foundry was connected with the bicycle industry.
Couplings for bicycle frames were casted there.
Mr. Leszek Chmielina sent us some photos of the Herold bicycle which was produced before the war, in the 1930s, in Hurtownia Pneumatyków Ostrów (H.P.O.) in Ostrów Wielkopolski. In these pictures you can see our fitting labelled with the globally recognizable EE logo.
