GENERAL INFORMATION
USE
Whiteheart malleable cast iron fittings EE are used in threaded pipe joints, particularly in water supply, gas, steam, central heating, sprinkler system networks, etc., it means transporting non-aggresive liquids and gases.

THREADS
Threads: R external taper threads, Rp internal straight threads made in acc. with the PN-ISO 7-1 standard, G fastening threads made in acc. with the PN-ISO 228-1 standard.
SURFACE / ZINC COATING
EE fittings can be supplied with black or zinc-coated surface, depending on the order.
According to EN 10242, the surface-related mass of the zinc coating is greater than 500 g/m2, which corresponds to the average film thickness of 70 µm.
Both black and zinc-coated surfaces are protected against corrosion.
The corrosion protection does not contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
WORKING PRESSURE
– 2.5MPa / 25bars / temperature between -20oC and 120oC
– 2.0MPa / 20bars / temperature 300oC
– between 120oC and 300oC interpolated

LEAK TEST
In accordance with the PN-EN 10242 standard, each EE fitting is tested for leaks under a compressed air pressure of at least 0.5 MPa /5 bar/ which is equivalent to a hydrostatic pressure of at least 2.0 MPa /20 bar/.
DESIGN
Technical aspects, appearance and other characteristics of fittings may be modified in line with technical progress and in accordance with changes in the applicable standards.
